The league cup is a irrelevance for Villa current position but I'd rather we went out  at least looking like our reserves are trying. I don't like to say that but it is true.What remains to be seen if this will wash over to Saturday's game. A couple of iffy performances and a defeat has yet again put pressure on Bruce and it is only August.

Tonight really highlights the ineptitude of the current coaching staff.

Clearly players were sent out without a plan, withoutbeing coached and without any confidence.

I will have nothing more to do with club until this absolute muppet is removed.  Incompetence of the highest order.

Very disappointing but sadly these days , not unexpected. Bruce doesn't seem to have much of a clue .

Sorry I can’t agree with that. I don’t give a whatever about this competition but is all about confidence and the direction of travel. We have a good squad who are very poorly managed and coached. Sadly we are going backwards.
