Tammy Abraham

I was skeptical how'd he go at Chelsea this season but fair play to him, he's been fantastic. Now I want to know how he'd have gone leading our front line.

Realistically its too early to write him off or "on". He'd need a good 20 or 30 games under his belt before its possible to draw some conclusions about how good he is at this level.

Saying that, the signs are good. But if he fails to score in 4, 5, 6 games now then questions will be asked.

He seems to have improved his decision making and he looks good in 1 v 1's.

More direct, more powerful and he's always had a decent finish.

Nice to see him improving and I imagine he'll be in the England squad soon.

Putting pressure on Southgate to use him or he'll choose Nigeria apparently.

I imagine he'll get minutes before too long.

The Czech or Bulgaria

And I thought he wouldn't cut it a Chelsea.

He comes across as a great kid so I'm happy to be proven wrong.

His attitude is one of the reasons I thought he would go far at Chelsea. He wont put his head down If misses chances

Have to confess I'm surprised by his form at Chelsea. I wanted us to sign him because of his work ethic and all-round game, but I didn't see him as a prolific goal scorer at this level.

Fair play to him. That little feint and sprint for his third goal was genuine quality. Don't think many defenders would be able to deal with that. Hoping we start to see some of that from Wesley.

I don't think his goals to minutes ratio for Swansea was actually that bad something like a goal every four games, and that was as a teenager playing his first season in the premier league, for a club that struggled to create chances. I think he'd get around fifteen goals, and £25m is a pretty good price for someone of his potential, if you want proven players then you have to pay a lot more.

Not quite so funny anymore.

He will surely be in the next squad so think that's a bit of a non story.

England don't have many central forwards to chose from in any case.

Have to play, not just be in the squad.

Until he does he can still switch.

Pretty sure your only allowed changeover once. Grealish cant go back to Ireland for example

Think he already has 2 friendly caps

No chance he'll go and play for Nigeria.

Nope. He backed himself to play for Chelsea and he’ll back himself to play for England.

Only a few players that leave Villa that I have time for. Tammy is one of them, maybe Barry, Young and Benteke. Cant think of many others that left for English teams

I don't mind any player who didn't try to engineer a move away. Barry I dislike but at least he still remained professional when his move didn't happen.
