Tammy Abraham

Glad he got 20 out the way, it looked to be weighing him down a bit first half, lots of pressure on his young shoulders. As soon as it went in he looked more confident. If he stays fit he gets 30 goals this year

I was 2yrs old the last time a Villa player scored 20 league goals.

Well done Tammy.

Well done Tammy.

I wasn't. ;)

I was on the terraces watching him do it. One of the bonuses of being ancient.:D

Our highest active scorer is Kodjia - he's got 26 in his tow and a half seasons with the club - that would seem a sensible target.

Cracking player, just sad it is only a short term deal.

Easily worth £25m in my opinion, and that figure will only increase in time.

Whoever advised him to stay should be ashamed of themselves

I think he is a cracking player....but I thought his touch was poor last night.

I think the poor displays from the team are making it difficult and starting to effect everyone.

Not his best performance, but quite frankly not his fault.

Still put in effort and didn’t sulk around the pitch, which quite honestly he was probably entitled to do.

Can't hold anything up. never wins it in the air. sometimes he has a rush of blood to the head and goes on a mad one chasing the ball deep into his own half.

Im starting to think he's another conner hourihane. scores a couple of tap ins then disappears. doesn't even score these days.

needs about 8 chances to put one away. just like andy cole wastefull finisher.

His misses are so glaring because he is literally our only scoring option.

If everyone else was chipping in with a few the misses amongst 20 scored wouldn't be so noticeable.  But when he misses and doesn't subsequently score we inevitably drop points as we always concede and none of the other wastrels will be contributing.

God knows where we'd be without his goals this season but, we desperately need him to convert those easy chances he seems to often miss.

He's the third highest scorer in the league. The two above him currently play for teams in the automatic promotion spots, and actually have a midfield.

. doesn't even score these days.

He's scored 3 in the last 5 games. 4 in the last 6. 6 in the last 9.

I'm not criticizing his goal scoring. he's doing ok apart from missing easy chances like today and weds.

Im criticizing his crap hold up work. Nothing ever sticks up front. we play short and nothing sticks. we knock it long and he doesn't win it.
