The same amount as Aubameyang and Pepe at Arsenal. Doesn't get enough respect on here That's because we watch him play every week rather than just looking at his goal stats... He's not doing enough in between those goals, goals are obviously the biggest influence in a game and "take away the goals and he doesn't influence the game" sounds daft but that's the truth, his general play for the 89 minutes when he's not scoring are often spent drifting rather than in the thick of it I don't think we sell him this summer, he'll be our 4th choice winger behind grealish, traore and a.n.other, we sell him once Barry comes through properly

I know a couple supports of Gunners and they think that Aubameyang has been pants this season.

He has a knack of contorting his body to get the goal I've rarely seen. Reading a lot of posts post season is a bit depressing. I really think we're not going to spend +100 million on new players but thread after thread is people shitting on likes of El Ghazi and Nakamba wanting to bin them for likes of Rashica who was absolutely shit last season but hey new shiny toy mind numbing transfer rumour

Easily city's second best player. And for a lot of games their best.
Keyblade
I damn near shit my pants every time Mahrez touches the ball against us. It'll be the same during the CL final tomorrow too if he starts. He's too dangerous.

Yet he's scored some pearlers, has played in the majority of games since Wolves away...and gives us decent balance. But he can't beat a player, his shooting is usually woeful, and doesnt' track back as much as he could and gets less stick for it than Traore. You'd think he's just a Championship plodder, but then het gets 10 goals in the prem (was it 10?) which is seriously good. I like El Ghazi as he is part of the team that came up and we all had the feel good factor together as a unit. But I think this is his ceiling. i wouldn't look to sell but if the right sized offer came in, I'd thank him and move him in. If you just say you don’t rate him as a player, then that is your opinion, and no one can argue against that. But your stated reasons for not rating him are just plain wrong. ’shooting is woeful’ https://www.footballcritic.com/premier-league/season-2020-2021/player-stats/wingers/shooting/shooting-accuracy/2/41756 He has the 4th best shot accuracy in the premier league amongst wingers who have played at least 1000 minutes. That’s better than Rashford, Harvey Barnes, Sterling, Foden, Salah, Mane and our very own Jack Grealish. And his conversion rate is better than all the above (apart from Foden) I could post screen shots here for every single stat showing that his passing, defending, heading and nearly every single objective means of measuring his performances has been better than many players that people on this board would cream their pants over, but feel free to browse them yourself to save me clogging up this thread. No doubt you will counter this by the usual ‘stats don’t tell the whole story’, and you’d be right. However, the stats back up my view that his shooting is closer to magnificent than to ‘woeful’. Can he be upgraded? Of course he can. But is his shooting woeful? No it bloody isn’t. Does he track back as much as he could? Well he does more defensive work than most wingers. Can he beat a man? Well he has more successful dribbles per game than Son and Auba. His actual weakness is that he just doesn’t seem to create chances for others. By all means, criticise him for that. 10

GENTLEMAN
I think he’s one of the most technically gifted in squad, especially at striking a ball. I think he’s biggest weakness is mentality. He is very cool under pressure but it seems like he needs the perfect routine to perform well. He wouldn’t drag himself in game from a poor performance for instance. When he’s confident, he is very good. Smith has certainly got the best out of him, and he’s still improving. Wouldn’t even be thinking of selling unless that bid was over 20/25 million. I think he’s a better squad option than McNeil (from the games I’ve seen).
M_Afro
He’s probably at his optimum value now after last season. I could easily see him at a club like Swansea if they get promoted or maybe Watford. I would sell him and buy a younger project type player to replace him. He has scored goals this season but our play breaks down with him so regularly and he didn’t get a single assist! If we could get £15m then we should sell him and move on.
Popular Post WallisFrizz
I honestly think if he played for another club, particularly a European one from a strong league and he’d had the kind of season he’s just and we were linked with him, the same people who are wanting to sell him would be wetting their pants over wanting to sign him. That was a long sentence but hopefully you get my point...grass not always greener etc 9
mottaloo
I am no expert in the beautiful game, but I've noticed that once AEG has a pop at goal (and sometimes scores) he just seems to get it in to his head that he is gonna score again and again, so he takes heaps more shots when sometimes playing a team mate in was the better option & that does my head in. Nothing wrong with a bit of self confidence and it is said that forwards are inherently greedy b******s but have a look up and see if someone else is in a better position. If so, pass to him. That said, I'd keep him as a squad player but I dont think he'd be happy with that & will probably move on.
