Keyblade
He'll get a lot of joy with Chilwell pushed up on Sunday. Really hope he's back. He's been fantastic lately.
ferguson1
I was absolutely dreading going into this thread tonight at the thought of what I might see. Thank goodness it’s only one game he’s out for.

Nothing serious to worry about. Great news! Where did you read/hear that? Really, really hope that is the case because I didn't like the look of how he went over on his knee. AV82
He 'hopes' El Ghazi will be available for Sunday. The pessimist in me tells me it'll be Sheffield United before we see him back. Big loss if so.
Villaphan04
hope he is back in time for this weekend's game. IMO has become our most important attack minded player (outside of Jack). If the injury isn't that bad and he plays pretty much rest of the year he could quite possibly get around 10 G 10 A which would be a fantastic return

It's excellent.
mikeyp102
Missed him today, recently he has been playing closer to Wes, which means when played into Wes defenders have something else to think about. Trez was too far from Wes (who admittedly didn’t help either)tonight
rbcuk
Need him Sunday, direct and at least he can actually take a player on

Last season when Jack was out I wanted him in number 10 position as think he'd suit that well but it never happened. Seems to be a purely wide player in Dean's mind. Giving him a go as false 9 type in a game or two would be interesting move. He has decent movement and shown he can score at this level so wouldn't be any worse than Wes at this period in time. Tom13
I couldn't see him being that suited to playing up front personally, he's a natural winger. As someone said in another thread, if we're trying someone out of position up front, I'd rather try Trez.
Philosopher
Shame about the injury, was starting to look a threat, we missed him after he went off against Man U. We always knew he had the talent. But he is like a good stout, needs time to settle.
AVTuco Posted December 6, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted December 6, 2019 Could we play with Anwar and Trez, and leave Wes on the bench?
MaVilla
That miss though, cor blimey guvnor! He likes to miss some sitters....
AVTuco Posted December 8, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted December 8, 2019 If Anwar scored that sitter, would it have been different???
KentVillan
Yes he missed a sitter, but he was our most dangerous attacking threat throughout. I would like to see him tried as striker at some point. I know it's not his natural position, but we need another option up there, and he seems the best candidate.
rodders0223
One man press today from Anwar , left hung out to dry at times by his midfield. Felt bad for him, getting mugged off.
Dr_Pangloss
Started bright, down hill after that miss, had to score. There's a good player in there though.
Farlz
It likely wouldn't have changed the outcome or anything but he had to score that chance today. Absolute sitter.
