Zatman
It was angry McGinn today, he was definitely more useful without Barkley next to him
jimmygreaves
Just now, Zatman said: It was angry McGinn today, he was definitely more useful without Barkley next to him Because he doesn't have to do Barkley's job in addition to his own.
LondonLax
He is under a lot less pressure with Nakamba and Ramsey in there compared to playing alongside Luiz and Barkley.
Dave-R
McGinn was there in midfield today, I certainly noticed him and while Leeds put him under pressure he also made some vital interceptions.
Vive_La_Villa
He was excellent today and tried to drive with the ball knowing if he lost it Nakamba and Ramsey would be covering. It’s great having 3 midfields instead of 2!

supermon
Definitely felt his presence today in midfield, felt like a real mature performance from McGinn, like he stepped up to the plate and acted like the senior player of the team. First game in a while where most of us aren't saying "what's happened to McGinn, drop him etc" Edited February 27, 2021 by supermon
AvfcRigo82
A solid performance from McGinn today. He battled well and showing signs of the player that we know. Having the right players round him in the team makes a massive difference to his game.
Sulberto21
I thought he was very good today. Read the game so well today. Made timely interceptions and tackles.
KevinRichardsonsMoustache
He was concentrating on his own game yesterday: not covering for Ross, wondering where he meant to be positions vis a vis Doug, or working out Jack’s whereabouts. He was the senior player in the midfield and it showed.
Philosopher
McGinn is an 8 so playing as a 6 definitely limits him. Love McGinn. 100 percent effort every time he plays. You have to love that. Our midfield however does lack bit of class. We need that put it on a six pence pass master to put the icing on the cake.

grobs
Tbf I’m usually the first to stick up for Mcginn but he really is crap.
Swerbs
Everyone else around him has been dropped, when is it his turn?
DCJonah
He's not top half in the prem quality. He'd be a stand out player for a Burnley.
avfc1982am
Personally I thought he put a real shift in. Shit final ball though and needs to up his game because his end product is currently very poor.
Villaphan04
If we get a decent bid in for him over the summer, I would be very tempted to take it. He's clearly inconsistent enough (as a starter) for us if we are trying to be perennial top 6 challengers.
lexicon
Poor first half, better second. Don't think he's the answer long term, sadly.
