Popular Post NurembergVillan Posted July 20, 2018 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted July 20, 2018 Today the club have announced "significant investment" from a company called NSWE, headed by Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens. It is assumed that they have bought a controlling stake in order to ease the club's cashflow problems and will eventually complete a full takeover of the club, although this is yet to be confirmed. Here is some information about Nassef - Quote Nassef Onsi Sawiris (Coptic: Ⲛⲁⲥⲥⲉϥ Ⲟⲩⲛⲥⲓ Ⲥⲉⲩⲏⲣⲟⲥ, Arabic: ناصف أنسى ساويرس; born in 1961) is an Egyptian billionaire businessman, the youngest of Onsi Sawiris' three sons (his brothers are Naguib and Samih). As of September 2016, his net worth was estimated to be $5.3 billion,[1] and the sixth richest African in 2017, according to Forbes.[2] Early life[edit] Nassef Sawiris received his secondary education in the German International School of Cairo, Egypt. Then he continued at University of Chicago where he received a bachelor's degree in Economics in 1982. Career[edit] He oversaw the construction activities of Orascom since 1990 and is the CEO of Orascom Construction Industries since the company's incorporation in 1998.[3] He was also a board member of NASDAQ Dubai from July 2008 - June 2010 where his is still a board member,[citation needed] and currently sits on the boards of Besix (Belgium) and NNS Holding (Luxembourg), and is a director at LafargeHolcim.[4] He was on the board of directors of the Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges from 2004 to 2007, and in July 2008 was appointed as a board director at the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX).[5] Personal life[edit] Sawiri is Christian. He is married, has four children, lives in London,[1] and maintains a residence in New York City. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nassef_Sawiris Welcome to the Club, Nassef. Please don't be another false dawn. This club is at the heart of football. We deserve better than we've had of late.
villa89
Quote As of September 2016, his net worth was estimated to be $5.3 billion This is one of the two things I wanted to know about him. The second is how much of that money is he going to invest into the club. Money buys success, and we need both.

To be honest there have been some decent Leeds fans on here giving advice / honest opinions on our now old predicament. I'm more interested in seeing the Blues' reaction, gonna be great.
The Fun Factory
Seem successful (they all seem that at the start) businessman, with no football experience. Within 6 months they will realise how ridiculous football is a business- a easy way to lose millions if you are not careful.
