I made a joke a few days later about him being off somewhere romantically nourishing himself and "shunning Termites" (shunammites - shunning termites, hilarious am I right?) and I got the title. I wouldn't have time to look anyway... Notifications, followed by Off Topic (except boring bolitics threads) and spending far more time in Other Football due to the World Cup. Sometimes I'll venture into Travel, Tech and North American Sports. On Topic is somewhere I am avoiding at present due to being thoroughly pissed off with Villa in general! I find Other Football to be the least argumentative part of the site (that I'm interested in anyway) so I generally go there most for 'fun' and a lot at the moment because of the World Cup. However, normally I go to Off Topic first, and often just go there. I doubt it's hard to see that I comment on the things I care about, which are politics, movies and being pissed off. There aren't many Off Topic threads I have no interest in, but I wouldn't read about wrestling or MMA (I do read the boxing thread despite having nothing of value to contribute). There are loads of areas I hardly ever go in, most especially Tech (I'm a complete luddite) and North American Sports (I watch the NFL, but have little of value to say). I do go in On Topic, and do try to join conversations, but I admit I find it hard since I usually have the opposite opinion to about 90% of other users, or at least the users who make 90% of the posts anyway. Still, it's all part of the fun and I don't have anyone on ignore, though I can think of about half a dozen I've been very close to muting over the years. Of course the club is utterly depressing at the moment, but I do try to remind myself that it's ultimately the reason we're all here and that we all want the same thing in the end. I come on the site too often, probably. I can't remember exactly when I started posting - I was a lurker for a long time - but I'd guess it was about five years ago, during which time I've made well over 10,000 posts, suggesting a rate of comfortably over 6 per day. I'm sure it's a form of addiction really, but in all seriousness it's an excellent community which the mods should be proud of, and which simply shits on other football forums I've seen, where every brainfart gets a new thread.
