Germany need an overhaul. Retire Neuer (past it and Ter Stegen is very good), Hummels (too slow and not the player he once was),  Ozil (pathetic player), Gomez (Shocking), Muller (complete shadow of what he was).

They also need to find a striker somewhere as Werner is AWFUL. They need to bring players like Sane and Max Meyer back into the fold as well. Oh and Low has to go.

Germany are the new England

there have been a few teams that ive looked at and thought "new england" definitely the argies, at times france and yeah this germany team

southgate coming up with a formation and shape that he likes and sticking to his guns shows the difference, the work thats then gone in to organisation and set pieces is the 2nd part

germans looked so out of sync with each other it was crazy, got to be some off field stuff going on because over the last 4 years they have been incredible, our media will say its because sane isnt there, not sure thats the case and instead they should focus on the performances of who is there, neuer and muller have been shit, ozil for years has escaped his club performances for germany but not this time

Yeeeeeeeeeees! This is the greatest footballing day in a long time. How sweet to win the group and simultaneously get some karma back on Germany for being sore winners against us. Curse of the winners is alive and well it seems.

Germany have fallen into a classic England trap. They've picked a squad on reputation, and played players on reputation. They've let their game plan become old along with their team.

When they burst onto the scene in South Africa after their last inquest they were fast, different, clever.

This world cup they've seemed predictable, slow and obviously complacent.

Isn't it wonderful?
