Win the next two and I think we are there (play offs) tbh.

I want us to have a 6 point cushion going into the Leeds game, we could easily lose our last 2

Nah, sorry. Try asking on the Derby and 'Boro fora, they seem much more amenable to that sort of thing.

But I asked nicely. I said please and everything.

I would end these now we are nicely nestled in 5th, but superstition tells me we've won every game since I've started. We might even win the league if I carry on...

Bristol City to draw to West Brom

Sheff W to draw to N Forest

Derby to beat Blackburn

Preston to lose to Leeds 👋

Boro to beat Bolton

Hull to beat Wigan

Villa to beat Rotherham

5 - Villa - 66 points

6 - Bristol - 63 points

7 - Derby - 63 points

8 - Boro - 61 point

9 - Hull - 60 Points

10 - N Forest - 58 points

11 - Preston - 57 points

Games in hand - Derby x 1 & Bristol x 1

If the Baggies are going to be dropping more points they should go on this list.

We beat Rotherham and Albion lose to Brizzle and we are only 4 points behind them and all!

I get the feeling Rotherham away will be a tougher game than people are expecting.

They're fighting for their lives now and will have taken confidence from beating forrest. It's definitely not a gimmie anyway.

Was thinking the same thing.

The next four fixtures look very kind, on paper. Rotherham have just won a match, against a pretty average Forest side, but the week before they conceded six and they aren't in any way good. We'll probably rest some players and the main challenge is likely to be unfamiliarity and complacency. Bristol are a good side, but we're at home and it should be easy to get the players up for that one. Bolton are garbage, and that should be as close to a guaranteed three points as you can get in this division. Millwall are traditionally tough, but at least we're at home.

It's pretty unlikely that we'll win all four of the matches, but nine or ten points should really be the target IMO.

How many points do you think will be required for a playoff spot?

73 would seem to give you a shout, 74 would I think make you a safe bet. Would 72 be enough?

I think 73 will do it, so three wins and a draw from our next four will probably be enough, particularly if one of the wins is against Bristol.
