alreadyexists Posted March 17, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted March 17, 2019 I wish we hadn’t drawn so many, just 4 or 5 of those ground out to wins and we’d be on the mid 60s points... oh well.

Mazrim
Drawing too many has been the bane of us for three seasons now.

It’s juat frustrating that we’ve drawn soooooo many, when even turning a few of those in to wins would see us probably 4th, or 5th.
HeyAnty
If Jannsens injury turns out to be as bad as it looked then Leeds are pretty well fecked. Edited March 17, 2019 by HeyAnty

To a man they were not prepared to put up with mid table mediocrity. They demanded a play off charge as a minimum. Smith had to react. Smith must have thought he had a free hit this season. But the fans reaction gave him a **** big kick up the arse. you can tell this by the bollocks he was talking in his interviews. These were the words of a man who's balls were on a fork. and the players. most of them were booked up on marbs beach as early as Jan. turn up, go thru the motions, go home shag the wag, get paid... **** off in the summer no hassles. But the fans demanded we don't let the season slip away without giving it a bloody nose. If you expect something it will happen unless you're half arsed about it. I bet the "leave it till the summer brigade" are wearing denim dungarees I've read some bollox on VT over the years, but congratulations, you have just surpassed all of it. Utterly mental! 1

Jimzk5
First time in the top 6 since September, great job by Smith and the players after that woeful run of form Think it will come down to the last game of the season who gets 5th and 6th given how tight the table is. After fighting our way back into the top 6 I'll be **** raging if we throw it now though
Junxs
I keep looking at those last 2 games and worrying. Bloody Leeds and Norwich. I hope we are mathematically guaranteed in the playoffs by then!
robby b
Yes, those last two games could be a bit tricky. :s On the other hand, our next opponent's one of the most ideal we could possibly have, because Blackburn are more or less safe now but are too far away from the play off places. Out of all the 24 teams maybe they have the least to play for at the moment.
Mazrim
I think Norwich will be on the beach by then. Possibly Leeds but less likely.
