What's your tipple this evening then?

coda

Recommended Posts

I've had this one a fair few weeks tbh but decided it was time to give it a go as my first tonight

A Helles by Buro Brauerie. As continetal lager goes (and especially unimaginative german larger) its OK, but its still lager and therefore not that special. 5.22%

Larger? I'd call 330ml quite a small bottle ;)

That Maltgarden Pudding Time still hasn’t surfaced in Poland, but a DIPA they made at the same time called Code To Neverland that I’m drinking now is very good.

Love Erdinger, very nice beer.

if you can get it this is the one -

See the source image

in the fridge, glass in the fridge, wash the glass with cold water just before you pour the beer (very important german trick) then with just a bit more than dregs left in the glass stop pouring and twist the bottle in your palms creating froth, then use that to it a good head

the wife was in the shop earlier and i said get me some dunkel and she picked up this which i scoffed at thinking it was some cheap shite rather than a branded beer

Image result for konig ludwig dunkel

i was wrong to doubt her! nice drop that is

Oops it’s daytime so off topic 😀

Todays choice to watch the Rugby with

I went a bit mad yesterday and bought this

The Wild Beer Company-Ninkasi

A Belgian Style Saison weighing in at 9% abv

Saison - Bubbles - Apples - Wild Yeast

Its supposed to be drunk like champagne and to be honest I can see why, it’s a very similar drinking experience

The beer imporium in kiddy used to stock them

Shame that place didn't know what it was or how to sell itself, went there a few weekends in a row was really getting I to it and then he shut it for about 3 months to go abroad for the winter and I never went back

Amongst his 200+ bottles of world beers he was selling the wild beer company and modello, that's good enough for me

New case from Beer 52 has arrived and this month they are all Belgian. Some pop to star off with...

Rodenbach Fruitage. A Flemish red / brown ale with Cherries. Abv is only 3.9%

bit like a flat cherryade. Get the shite out of the way first tbf if I don’t think of it as beer it’s ok
