This could be epic if they pull it off but could go very messy if they get it wrong.

it's also been leaked that Maguire and Garfield reprise their Spidey roles too (along with previous Sinister Six members too!)

Have to say...that looks pretty bloody great.

That looks better than I anticipated it would...

I didn't expect we'd

Spoiler

get some Sinister 6 stuff but it seems that's what they're going for... Which could be cool.

On the other hand I have seen some of the Hot Toys figures for the film and err...

Spoiler

Spider-Man gets another appalling outfit

Shang-chi reviews are surprisingly good.

Fun fact, my partner works at a VFX studio in Adelaide that did work on Shang-chi and a lot of other Marvel properties and now I cant read it without seeing what their working title was for it 'Sham-wow'

Just come back from the cinema. Shang Chi is excellent and really good fun. Some great action. Also Tony Leung is excellent.

Spoiler

Surprise Ben Kingsley! And he gave me one of my biggest laughs in the cinema in ages

Shang Chi is excellent. So well shot them cinematography was excellent.
It takes on some old school Chinese lore and mysticism (think House of Flying Daggers) and added it to modern take. Some great action sequences and fights.
It works so well as a stand alone film and a marvel film.

Spoiler

Wong and Slattery were so funny and unexpected to see them in it.

After the dullness of Black Panther (and its poor CG), Captain Marvel, and the film not needed in Black Widow, it is so good to see Marvel back on form. Loved it. For me Shang-Chi is the best Marvel film since Infinity War (if you count the Spidy films as Sony ;) )

Is this about Shang Chi? If so agreed, I’d go further than best film since Infinity War, I’d say it’s one of the best overall. It’s probably got into my top 5 Marvel films.
1. Guardians 1

2. Infinity War

3. Thor Ragnorok

4. Shang Chi

5. Endgame or Civil War

Totally agree with that list, think it sums up my top 5 too. 😀

Yes and I have to agree with that list. Guardians is not only for me the best Marvel film but the best Star Wars sequel as well 😉 it really has the same vibe and energy of the original trilogy.

Spoilers for an upcoming movie

Spoiler

So Venom is now in the MCU. Probably. Tom Holland appears in the post credits scene of the new film, though in a less than spectacular way.

Get the **** logo on him.

Apparently critics are destroying Venom 2 and calling it a 'ridiculous mess' and essentially tentacle porn...I think this is one case of a clear disconnect between critics and what people who actually liked the first Venom movie WANT from the second one (from all the buzz I have seen and reactions to news and reviews coming out). Just focusing on myself for a moment the symbiotes (and Carnage in particular) are my personal favourite little corner of the Marvel universe and the last thing I wanted it to be was some self serious 'good' movie, a ridiculous gay mess is pretty much perfectly in line with what I wanted.

I'm really not happy we have to wait until November 25 for the film here in Australia.

Yeah to be honest the first film wasn't exactly critically acclaimed but I thought it was great fun despite it being tonally all over the shop.

The trailer for 2 looks like more of the same so I'm in anyway 😁
