Championship final day shenanigans......

Recommended Posts

Well, we have finally arrived at game week 46. Whilst we have nothing to play for ourselves, there is plenty of excitement still left in the league as we reach the seasons climax.

The play off spots look like being completed by Derby, with Bolton and Burton to drop at the other end, but Barnsley, SHA and Reading will be looking over their shoulders.

I reckon Bolton will survive at the expense of Barnsley and Burton, but obviously hope that SHA finally go down. Don't mind who finishes 6th, as long as it's not Millwall, which seems very unlikely.

What would everyone like to see happen at either end today?

12 away wins would be nice.  If that seems unrealistic then away wins for Villa, Fulham, Burton and Barnsley.  Cardiff can have the draw.   Basically anything which combines to put Fulham into second and send Small Heath down.

Could actually see Burton nicking a 0-1 today, Preston aren't great at home and don't score many goals.

Not sure Bolton will get a big win today (or any win at all as they've been hopeless last month).

Hope Fulham come out flying today and go 2-0 up at SHA. If Cardiff are 0-0 and news filters through their crowd would start getting nervous and that can translate on to the pitch.

Reading are a very poor team though so think at some point Cardiff would get the win.

Villa win and no injuries or suspensions.

Fulham to beat Small Heath.

Reading to get something at Cardiff.

Don’t really mind about Bolton v Forest, Derby v Barnsley and Preston v Burton. But as long as they provide the twists and turns I’ll be happy.

You would think that they would have sorted out the fixtures a bit better if every game is kicking off at 12.30, There are some horrible long trips for loads of teams and trying to get to any of these games by train on a sunday morning is pretty much impossible

You couldn't write it. Birmingham play Fulham and Cardiff play Reading. Both games could mean potential promotion and relegation. Barnsley play Derby and Preston play Burton, Both games could secure playoffs or relegation. They'll be plenty of fans taking their radios with them to the game.

They are playing a Reading team with Bacuna in midfield.

They are promoted.

3 ex-Villa players start for Reading including the mythical Tiago Ilori
