You don't leave a £4m a year job sitting on the TV talking football every weekend to go and be assistant manager to a country you have not long left.. after turning down a mangerial appointment from another club along the way. Even some of our signings, young european talent - these are not the signings Bruce usually goes for. It's the wee details like these that are often not given second thought. If we can afford to be looking at players and signing them for £7m eventually then getting rid of Bruce and his merry men will not be a problem. I said the same to a mate this afternoon, many of these signings are the exact opposite to what we usually see from Bruce. So are we being influenced by Mendes, the new CEO before his announcement, a soon to be announced DOF, a new manager that we already have lined up or some/all of the above.
