I don't mind nights like tonight, will keep them convinced that they are heading in the right direction whilst they carry on winning **** all, not fixing the glaring holes in their squad and losing to the likes of Burnley and Watford

Liverpool have improved rapidly since starting Robertson over Moreno

Quelle surprise. Moreno is comically shit. City not at the races at all, no pressing no energy. Bizarre decision to start gundongan in the wing. Pep trying to be too clever in a big game as per usual.

The decision not to play Sterling has backfired massively.

I mean, surely no one wants City to win the Champions League.

I wouldn't mind city or PSG winning it as it serves as a reminder that you buy success in football. It helps dispell the myth that man Utd or Bayern or real Madrid or Barcelona ('more than a club') are special teams that are better than other clubs. They just buy success same as everyone else.

when you have all the money in the world you have to show some ego and prove you are the saviour of football. So he always does these things in big CL games and is usually paying the penalty.

Monaco, Barca and Real have humbled him in recent seasons. add Liverpool to the list

All city had to do was score one goal in the second half to stay in the tie but they never looked like scoring. Karius didn't have a save to make. Hard to pick any city player that played well. De Bruyne giving the ball away, Silva sauntering around the pitch. Kompany leaden footed at the back.
