Faffed around waiting to see which of the kids could come with me to this and ended up missing out completely having been thinking about it for months. Idiot. Just go in the Neutral end. Stevo985 Posted February 12, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted February 12, 2018 We’ll stop winning eventually. A draw here would be a decent enough result given the form they’re in. A win would be excellent. We have every chance. Players will be full of confidence.

When we played Cardiff at Ninian Park in November 1974, we lost 3-1. I was there and we were struggling in the lower half of the table.......we only lost 1 more game that season, on a mud pile at Leyton Orient. Got promoted 2nd just behind the Mancs. We were like a juggernaut, great days. Here’s hoping we do the same again.
villa89
I refuse to believe its possible for the Aston villa that I know to win eight in a row. It would be unheard of. Score draw.

MONCABA
We're a much stronger team than when we played them away last season. For this reason alone, I'm going for a 2-0 away win to our Villa boy's.
Vive_La_Villa
Two most inform teams in the league going head to head. Both conceding only 3 goals in the last 6 games. 0-0 ?

BleedClaretAndBlue
Id be tempted to try Axel at RB to deal with RS. Elmo got caught out a few times on Sunday and somehow I dont think we'll be let off the hook at Craven Cottage the way theyve been attacking teams during their good run. The other question mark is BB back in for Jedinak. Mile put in a MOTM performance against Blues but this game will be different. Its good to see though that whoever comes in had performed lately. Id probably go with: Johnstone Tuanzebe - Chester - Terry - Hutton Jedinak Snodgrass - Hourihane - Grealish - Adomah Hogan

Our superb 2018 form has seen us match some long-standing records over the last few weeks, and victory this weekend against Fulham would mean the same again. A seven-game winning run was equalled for first time since 1990 on Sunday, and we now have our sights set on an eighth successive league win. Should we come away with all three points from Craven Cottage, it will be the first time we have done so since the 1974/75 campaign. Back then, we finished in our current position of second in the Division Two table – winning promotion to the top flight. Under the guidance of Ron Saunders, we overcame West Bromwich Albion, Millwall, Cardiff City, Oldham Athletic, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland and Norwich City in our final eight games of the season, finishing as runners-up to Manchester United. Fast forward 43 years, and we're gunning for promotion to English football's summit once again, and looking to emulate that eight-match winning streak. We've already repeated one previous promotion feat this term – winning 5-0 on New Year's Day, as we did in 1988, to eventually get back to the big time. 4

wedge
I hate to be that guy folks but I do think (although it's not the end of the world) that this will be the end of our winning streak. Hopefully it's because we've drawn not lost!

Hopefully it's because we've drawn not lost! I dunno - we came up against SHA who were equal 3rd in form over the previous 6 games and played them off the park. I'm confident we can get a point..... ...and even sneak a win like we did against Sheffield Utd a couple of weeks ago.

Tricky game but weirdly confident about it.
