I think he is a liability defensively. He has no awareness and loses people. Poor defending by him for both goals last night.

I agree he hasn't looked all that so far (hopefully he can improve!) but I feel the criticism for the 2nd goal is a bit harsh, I saw it as it happened and he was hung out to dry. Elmo pushed up pressing the defenders, and when the ball came through none of our midfield was in a position to fill in (I actually think Jack was closest, but he was clearly knackered and didn't get anywhere near), meaning Axel was caught between 2 Brentford players, ended up in no man's land really but it was 2 on 1 against him so not too much he could really do.

But why is he being played there when we have Bree, Elmohamady and De Leat there as natural RB's!?

He had a decent game last night and very tidy most of the game.

I don’t think Bruce has any faith in Bree and De Leat and prefers not to start Green so had Elmo in midfield.

De Leat and or Bree I reckon will be loaned out.

I agree with this. Ironically the attacking pressing game took so much out the players it’s what nearly cost us second half. It’s at that point we need to revert to Bruce’s usual defensive cautiousness and hit on the break. Brentford smelt blood.

They could have had 2 or 3.

I find this guy fits in to the playstyle we was playing the other day against Brentford. Tuanzebe for most of the game was up and down the pitch on his flank and like lightening too. Remember he is running up and down that pitch very fast, he has that speed, but it can also cost us defensively. While the first error was his I think, the second was not all his fault..

For just having three guys at the back and then Tuanzebe going that deep and putting crosses in, there needs to be sufficient cover for when Tuanzebe isn't back in time.

People say that brentford could of scored more and that's ok saying that, if that was that type of game however, just look at the goals we would of scored if all this was the case, for 70+ minutes we didn't let them hardly breathe.

Personally, while I was watching that game I were wondering if Tuanzebe has a devil in side of him that just won't let him rest (maybe a Tasmania devil)

Dude is a bit of a dud, isn’t he? Gave the ball away five times in five minutes today, while under no pressure at all. Slows us down going forward, and doesn’t look like a natural full back. We have a surplus of specialist right backs who are better at the position. There really is no need for him to play there.

I thought we was pretty good today all in all, however I don't recall the above comments about him losing the ball.

Elmo looked the weak link for me (goal aside).
