villa4europe Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) 2 minutes ago, Zatman said: Norwich keeper never looked like saving any penalties Harsh, the Willian and hazard penalties they've sold him on the run up and then tucked it the other way, the Luiz penalty is struck so hard that its pure luck to have dived that way rather than reactions, the azpilacueta one and especially the Kante are pretty much side netting and would have required incredible saves good penalties im a firm believer that top top pros should be able to take an unsavable penalty, the technique should be there, it's only then nerves, gamesmanship, arrogance etc that then impact that ability, that's why for me it's a much better test than extra time (which tests fitness, use of subs etc) Edited January 17, 2018 by villa4europe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We’ll dive in the box 3 times (all confirmed via mic into refs ear he was correct) and then yell at the ref (Pedro didn’t cos his was diabolical!). Fair play to the ref he was strong in the face of absolute harassment and all bookings for diving and both red cards correct! The arrogance of some of these bigger teams when they are in a scrap to try and cheat and win pens or fouls is shocking! Pedro should be banned longer! Dirty cheating so and so!
