I don't see any deviation of the ball after it bounces off his thigh. Still wasn't a penalty mind. According to the people in the Swedish studio (one of them is a ex FIFA ref) it first touched his right arm that was in a "natural position" and then onto his left arm that wasn't. Didn't watch the sudio so just going by the articles in the papers. No idea if they showed more videos or had other pictures. To me it looks like they are correct.
DeepDish
Shocking scenes in Norway. It has been lots of protests against VAR for a while, but the match Rosenborg-Lillestrøm was canceled now after it had been stopped four times after both set of fans threw tennis balls out on the pitch. And the supporters were singing together "we hate, we hate VAR, we hate, we hate VAR".

sne
The notion that VAR is working fine everywhere apart from in the PL is a bit wrong.

El Zen
We’re gonna win the fight in Norway. After today, I’m certain it’s only a matter of time. We, the fans, won’t stop until we’ve scrapped it.

This will spread to others matches.

OutByEaster? Posted July 24 Moderator Share Posted July 24 The VAR decision in the Argentina - Morocco game technically took more than an hour. Argentina's players didn't know their goal had been disallowed until about twenty minutes after they left the pitch. Crazy.
sne
The PL has a new Twitter account where they aim to explain their VAR decisions. Might be something to follow for those who still use Twitter. 1

Mic09
If a decision needs clarification from referees, it is likely a wrong decision.
Django_Zooms
"Players now advised by PL that not every touch of a player’s hand/arm with the ball is an offence and they are not expected to move with their arms behind back or by their side like pogoing penguins (not an official description in the Laws). Handball Law is simplified. No hand-ball if: justifiable position or action; a clear change of trajectory when touched by, or deflected from, the same player; played by a team-mate; hits supporting arm when a player falls; or proximity." villa4europe
Is that about 5 years in a row now they've changed how they interpret handball? And then poorly worded it and transcribed it to fans We don't stand a chance And that's before the first game where a bizarre make it up as they go along decision is made

A ref from Italy or Sweden is not gonna have the same interpretation of what a hand ball is.
