Everything is alright now. Stop being hysterical. BRUCE IN.....

Seriously though, what a terrible game. We were the slightly less terrible of two terrible teams who both put in terrible performances.

Terrible

We need.....Ivan.:)

I think over all we deserved it. We were poor for 45 minutes where as they were diabolical for 90 minutes.

Second half we played well and seemed to have some kind of game plan.

I think Bruce got lucky today with Onomah getting injured as it allowed Grealish to come on and once again he was the best attacking player on the pitch. He should be one of the first names on our team sheet.

Defensively we were solid and special mention to Elphick as he has stepped up to the plate.

Bring on Bristol City and I am looking forward to getting down to VP on Monday way more than I was a couple of hours ago.

Fine result.....couldn't see it frankly, but perhaps it's overrating the opposition.

Jack has to start.....RHM should be given his wings too, even for part of the game.I would still like to see O'Hare given some game time too.

These players need to be introduced.

hats off to Elphick too......I love a trier.

Please enlighten me Steve, why wasn't Grealish in the starting line-up?

We won.

There’ll be another 30 pages of teeth gnashing, moaning and repetition in the Bruce thread until the next game.

Darkness rises... with light to meet it...

And there'll be an additional 30 pages of Bruce supporters finger wagging, counter-moaning and cyclical eyebrow raising until the next game too. VillaTalk innit?

Big win... but for me, he's still under a lot of pressure.

Thanks @Raver50032, I've never rated Elphick but you can't fault the bloke for how he performed yesterday - Bruce claims we're all hysterical but most of us recognise when player's perform and are big enough to acknowledge it.

Pity Bruce isn't able to take the same stance with his post match comments..

Then why was he on the bench and then brought on risking the very thing he was worried about?

If he's got a problem which is not to be risked he shouldn't be on the bench.
