villa4europe 7,948 Report post Posted February 7 yes they do and if the winner of it isnt chelsea or man city then the EL places will be up to 6th in the league would be brilliant if wolves played their reserves in the cup finished 7th and watford or palace won it and wolves didnt get europe

Honestly don't mind Wolves, Imagine it would be different if I lived near Brum
villa4europe 7,948 Report post Posted February 7 i dont mind them either, family are wolves / baggies fans and the wolves lot are ok, i meant it just from the perspective of giving up on a cup to focus on the league and getting no reward from it, the number of mid table clubs who dont focus on the cups is shocking
Xela 15,883 Report post Posted February 7 Might as well just scrap all the cup competitions. They're worthless now. Finishing 4th is the new FA Cup
rodders0223 9,899 Report post Posted February 9 Do the people who stand by corners flags with their phones out everytime a corner is taken not realise the game is recorded? Do they not realise they are on camera looking like absolute words removed? Do they not care? Why are they even recording Juan Mata take a corner? What are they ever going to watch that back? "Lads, come here . Remember that time Mata kicked a ball at Fulham?" "EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He has probably took 100s in his career, and will take a hundred more. It is not a momumental occasion. WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU ABSOLUTE MELT?!
Shropshire Lad 4,761 Report post Posted February 9 It’s probably a combination of hoping it leads to a goal and being able to prove “I was there”. A ticket stub or a programme doesn’t cut it anymore. It’s the same for people who go to gigs and record the band playing a song. Although at the very least in that instance there normally isn’t dozens of tv cameras to record the performance. Anyway you’re right, it’s stupid.
Xela 15,883 Report post Posted February 11 Aaron Ramsey - £400k per week for 4 years at Juve. £83.2m contract. Fair play to him but bloody hell! Football, just hurry up and implode. 2
OutByEaster? 11,491 Report post Posted February 11 That's quite a lot of money isn't it? Remember when they used to run pubs in their forties?

Football, just hurry up and implode. Absolutely obscene for any player, let alone one on at best the 3rd rung. Top: Messi / Ronaldo 2nd tier: Bale / Aguero / Suarez / Neymar etc 3rd tier: lots of players better than Ramsey Actually, he’s 4th tier at best. And injury prone, bizarre from Juventus who are typically shrewd. It does make more sense for players to run down their contract these days though with inflated transfer fees. villa4europe 7,948 Report post Posted February 11 It's all fun and games until they realise they can no longer afford dybala
villa4europe 7,948 Report post Posted February 11 In all seriousness it's a great move for him but I don't think he's 1st choice there, got some good midfield options
Stevo985 31,303 Report post Posted February 11 That's bizarre. I mean he's a decent player, but 400k a week?!?! I thought that wage was reserved for the absolute elite.
Xela 15,883 Report post Posted February 11 Ronaldo is on £538k per week after tax. You'd expect it for him though, he's an icon and one of the all time greats. Ramsey will be on over double the next best paid (currently Higuain)
Zatman 14,133 Report post Posted February 11 last time I checked Ramsey cant get into the current Arsenal team
Genie 4,646 Report post Posted February 11 It really doesn’t make sense at all does it? He’s not good enough for Juve for starters, and then for them to pay him an absolute fortune. Very odd. Is there some link between his agent and the club?

Same agent as Bolasie with the next highest profile player on their books being Joel Ward.
