I wonder what the obsession with O'Leary is.

He is the past. get over it. Though some people jump at the first chance to mention his name at any opportunity.

He was our past though and a very depressing part of it. Think it would be a shame if he didn't get a few mentions from time to time :winkold:

porno dwarf said this to the Daily Mail

" Sullivan admitted that City sounded out Jol over the weekend. 'Martin thanked us for our interest but said it was too early for him to consider coming back into football such a short time after leaving Spurs,' he said.

Yeah right . He was most likely horrified at the thought.

Reckon it'll be between Black, Coleman and Jewell. The SHA board aren't stupid and know the crowd reaction that would go with the appointment of the likes of Souness, Wilkinson and Reid. Unsure if Jewell would take it leaving Black (how many assistant to manager promotions have worked) and Coleman (who hardly set the world alight at Fulham). Looking forward to their confirmed relegation when we have 3 more points off them in April

Coleman or Jewell would be mad to take up the job. They could hold out for far better jobs. The sort of manager they will be able to attract will be young inexperienced managers or managers with patchy records who wouldn't mind being sacked (and picking up a pay-cheque) in 6 months.....

.......Unfortunately for Blose both Gary Megson and Bryan Robson are currently employed.

If they appoint a caretaker and Yeung gets the boot, Jimmy Calderwood would be worth a bet on at the end of the season.

From what I have read in the papers and from 606, the Blues are in a downward spiral. I bet that Yeung regrets buying into the club right about now. If I were him I'd sell back the investment I have in the club and go buy into a club with more promise.

Methinks you don't quite understand

Carson Yeung doesn't have the money to buy any decent club, thats how foolish and ready to sell the current owners are

the current owners are amongst the richest people in the country, yet to them its always been a business and with the current TV deal have seen this season as the perfect time to recoup their investment

The Golds and Sullivan have wanted out for a while (Sullivan for sure, there's quotes on that one) but the three of them have an agreement that when they sell they all agree and they all sell at once

They've just lost the best manager they've had in the last twenty years, no seriously he is, the rest of them have been FAR worse. (I'm not saying he's good either, just the best they've had)

The club is in more than freefall, its not like Bruce hasn't wanted to leave for a while, other clubs have tried to tempt him but the board have refused their advances, this time they found someone to pay absolutely stupid money (in managerial terms) so they've agreed but no-one in their right mind would take the club over in their current predicament, this situation is called MELTDOWN

Imagine a large glacier made of bacon fat, its just halved in size and the juices are running through Small Heath

Maybe hard to believe but it's all true and is as funny as ****. The current board have no buyer, no manager, their preferred option wants to join their ex-manager and the whole shebang is turning to dust in their mouths.

They were so desperate they went for the quick sale option thinking they were going to get to cash in big-style. Big TV bucks, "quality" manager, no debt and not much spent on transfers in the summer to ensure the cash balance was good. Ho ho. Here comes the sucker, lets sell to him at an inflated price and ride our dildoes off in to the sunset.

Well, here's the bad news, filth. he ain't got no cash and you ain't got no manager, prospective buyers or prospects. Enjoy your distribution of the parachute payment and please have nothing like good luck in replacing fistface. Give it a week and you can appoint McClaren you worthless losers.

Truly poetic

:crylaugh:

You've got to love it, couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

My vote is for Mr Magoo.

Edit- Sorry, I now see it said Mr Meagee (from Karate Kid?)- I'll stick with Mr Magoo thanks.

Just heard Barry Fry on WM......the bloke is obviously retarded or from another planet.

When asked who would want the small heath job, even though he'd just been told Jol turned it down, he said:

"Everyone will want it - it's a massive club with fantastic support"

Absolute loon

Anne Summers is doing well in the poll but who is she and where can she be found if she wins?

Wikipedia says this about Anne Summers "....The company was named after the female secretary (Annice Summers) of the male founder (Caborn Waterfield) and has always targeted female consumers."

So where can we find Anne or Annice Summers for a comment if she wins the poll? Friends Reunited perhaps.
