First time in a while I have had to give thought to a MOTM tbh. So many candidates today. We looked a **** team.

Lovely stuff. 

Keep it up chaps.

It still wasn't perfect, but it was pretty damn close. Loving the team effort, the clean sheets, the fact we actually look dangerous again at last and the fact we are keeping the bloody ball!

Very enjoyable feeling indeed.

That said, Burton were woeful, but you can only beat what's in front of you and we laboured against them last year.

Amazing gifs aside, that was a superb performance.  The big difference is the movement off the ball, particularly after passing it.

No more standing around after releasing the ball with Snodgrass, Hourihane and (whisper it) Whelan just doing something as simple as making themselves available.  Snodgrass is starting to get his match fitness back, and he can clearly spot a pass AND regularly make it happen.  He also chases around and makes a nuisance of himself.

Johnstone is looking like a keeper (in both senses of the word), Elmo and Taylor know when to push forward and when to hold, whilst Terry and Chester have got their heads around who does what in their partnership.  Adomah is looking as good as we know he can, but he's doing it every week.  He also looks equally at home on either flank.

Up top - Kodjia is still getting back into shape, and form, but seems to have learned about not being such a greedy bastard which might see him score a few less goals and us win a few more matches.

As for the lad Davis, absolute kudos to him.  He was on the footballing scrap heap a couple of years ago and now plays every game like it's an absolute privilege to wear claret and blue which, lets be honest, it is.

Credit to Bruce too.  We all said he needed to get pretty much maximum points in September.  We're on course to do that, and in increasingly impressive style.

Thank God for that I was beginning to think I'd never enjoy a game of football again.

Well done to all.

We just played another very poor side and still had a few problems when they passed the ball but there was nothing wrong with tonight.

Bruce kept the more positive tweak of the last couple of games so that was good too ( if only he'd done it sooner).

Finally excorcised the gloom from Reading and Cardiff.

A good night !!
