VT Supporter Rodders Posted August 24, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted August 24, 2017 Take that, home draw against a fellow champ side, each round steadily increasing the challenge!

VT Supporter villan-scott Posted August 24, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted August 24, 2017 Barnsley or Derby have made it to Wembley. Good work! Favourable draw for us. Fancy our chances against Boro. Lucrative draw for Burton at Utd too. Good for them.
Kingman
Will be playing them twice in a week then. Guess they will be two very different line ups.

Isn't it's weird how it often pans out like that!? We seem to often draw teams in cups that we're playing that week. Probably just seems that way though. VT Supporter Lichfield Dean Posted August 24, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted August 24, 2017 So Dr. Tony was at the draw then! He is at the far right of the first picture.
hogso
Considering the suspicion of a fix (to presumably secure some lucrative TV fixtures), that is an incredibly boring draw.

This is true although I suppose the big teams having kinder draws will make big games later on in the competition more likely. At this stage there's enough United/Liverpool fans to mean that a game against anybody will be well watched on TV. I'd expect the United and Liverpool games to be chosen due to the lack of any particularly exciting matches.

sne
So all 4 remaining clubs with Chinese ownership (Villa, Reading, Wolves and West Brom) get home ties? Edited August 24, 2017 by sne
rodders0223
18,000 in the last game despite reduced pricing and free tickets. Make this one free again Tony, you know it makes sense.

John
Nice home draws for Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester United again. I would guess that the TV cameras might be at Leicester and WBA.
