Pre-orders for the xbox one x supposedly going live during/immediately after the stream. Lots of stuff being shown off all through the week but the main conferences for the big boys are listed below. Midway through the stream they seem to have sent out a age rating on the stream which then broke the stream for everyone. At best it seems you get a blank screen with sound, otherwise you might get nothing at all, or worse, a weird multiple audio thing going on with the sound repeating itself over the top of itself. Though, I can't help but feel if it was they would have made sure there was no uncertainty around it. Pretty sure it will be timed still like Tomb Raider. I think Sony will eventually get it, but Microsoft publishing makes it a slightly different story to, for instance, Tomb Raider. Daweii Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 Biggest announcement of Gamescom for me. This is a sequel to a series that seemed like it would never happen. When Microsoft shut down Ensemble Studios some 5 years ago that was it for Age of Empires for every fan of the series, but here we are Microsoft with a renewed focus on PC gaming bringing back one of, if not their oldest and most iconic series. I am beyond jazzed about this right now I just want to play it, but I know that this game isn't out any time soon so I'll have to deal and wait patiently. PC is guaranteed, but it would not surprise me if Microsoft put it on Xbox. The limiting factor as always with it on Xbox is if the base Xbox One can run it well as Xbox One X can't have any game that can't also run on the base console.
