Dismal showing. A few positives though, O'Hare and Steer were class.

Nice with the win. Not impressed with the overall performance but it's on saturday against Cardiff it counts anyway.

Wasn't pretty but we rested most of Saturdays team. Keeper looked decent. Gave a lot of youngsters a chance. Saw the return of RDL and most importantly won the game. 

A decent night really.

Relieved that we're through, that was remarkably unconvincing. When did we last smash a lower league team in the cup? We always make it look so difficult.

Job done. Performance wasn't great but I don't think it was terrible either, especially not with the awful conditions.

Steer was class. Good run out for a lot of players not first choice normally. Got some luck too.

Bucky O'Hare, Onomah, Steer and Hogan all played very well.

Onomah showed real composure for a young lad of 19. He needs to be getting some league action.

Not bothered about the overall performance at all. Not the night to focus on that.

O'hare and Steer MOM. Horrible conditions that are always going to favour a lesser side. Encouraged that Hogan got a goal, hopefully it'll get him going.

Steer and O'hare had a good match.

Hogan did well with his goal. He was proactive and predicted a rebound. He also continues to make smart runs which hopefully eventually will be picked out.

Hourihane and Onomah showed flashes. Onomah is very active which is nice to see. Definitely a Bruce type midfielder. Hourihane shouldn't be played so deep, but he did decently in that role.

Defense was shaky. Samba made a couple bad decisions, but turned it around. 

All in all, it's a win in terrible conditions.

Awful conditions, second string but vs lower opposition it was still hard to see what it is that we actually do, no real shape or style

wins a win, o'hare and steer we're good, hopefully a confidence boosting goal for hogan, de laet back

It certainly wasn't last year, where we went out in the first round. To Luton Town. In the first round, where Luton Town beat us

I think that's as good as we could've expected tonight.

We got the chance to see (quite a few of) the kids, our second choice keeper gave himself a shout of being first choice, a striker in need of a goal got one, a few players made their first appearance for a long time, and a young lad (two including Onomah) showed he might have a bright future and an impact on our season.

With the weather it was always going to be tough to see any sort of slick passing or running with the ball, and despite Steer making some cracking saves I never really felt like there was a spell that we were under pressure.

The right result, lots of positives, and we'll have learned a few things too.  Nice.
