I do like him, but (if we're looking for a negative) he's totally one-footed.

He should definitely be starting, and I'm sure he will.

think Gareth Barry was too, I don't think that will hold him back ,many modern Pro's are:)

He's not totally one footed. He controls the ball with both feet and that enables him to go both ways which as a centre mid is a brilliant quality. For someone making his debut in those conditions he was great. Like most he passes mainly with his stronger foot but at 20 he looks a star in the making. Get him alongside Whelan on Saturday.

He looks really good.

He passes and then carries on moving?  What exactly is this sorcery??

Surely more than enough time for Villa to drill that out of him :)

its called "will to succeed"

you should have been around in the late 70's early eighties most of 'em had it.

I hope Bruce doesn't play him as an attacking midfielder. He is a 6 or 8 not a 10.

This.....reminds me a lot of the way delph plays.

...when he used to play

From what a lot of Spurs fans seem to say is that he is good box to box, so could play centrally in mid, dm or even further forward, but he's always struggled as a wide player so he should do ok anywhere but wide. Or so I'm told.

Starts today. Good luck to him, looks a real player.

I can't say I support playing him ahead of Hourihane though. I'd rather we concentrated on trying to get the best out of our own players.

Perhaps Bruce thought he was being all uppity by knowing how to play football on the ground. Lad needs some humility

Yeah, Come round here with your silky skills trying to play to feet forward football…

That will teach him a lesson!.. Get him off.
