Danishlad
I hope Bruce doesn't play him as an attacking midfielder. He is a 6 or 8 not a 10.

He should definitely be starting, and I'm sure he will. He's not totally one footed. He controls the ball with both feet and that enables him to go both ways which as a centre mid is a brilliant quality. For someone making his debut in those conditions he was great. Like most he passes mainly with his stronger foot but at 20 he looks a star in the making. Get him alongside Whelan on Saturday.

Surely more than enough time for Villa to drill that out of him its called "will to succeed" you should have been around in the late 70's early eighties most of 'em had it. Grumpy_Lion
He looks like he has potential. We don't have many players who are willing to run past a few opponents, so i'm all for a player like this. It will be interesting to see him play against some of championship level players now.

alreadyexists Posted August 11, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) From what a lot of Spurs fans seem to say is that he is good box to box, so could play centrally in mid, dm or even further forward, but he's always struggled as a wide player so he should do ok anywhere but wide. Or so I'm told. Edited August 11, 2017 by alreadyexists
wazzap24
Starts today. Good luck to him, looks a real player. I can't say I support playing him ahead of Hourihane though. I'd rather we concentrated on trying to get the best out of our own players.
Kingman
MOTM For me and gets taken off?.. Can only assume Empty head Bruce was thinking about the mighty Reading in mid-week
Rodders
Perhaps Bruce thought he was being all uppity by knowing how to play football on the ground. Lad needs some humility

VILLAMARV
Utterly baffling that he came off. Best player on the pitch for us
Farlz
He's an excellent player, the only one today who looked like he knew how to play football. I really hope we don't completely ruin him by the time the loan is finished.
