BOF Posted September 25, 2017 Author Moderator Posted September 25, 2017 Stats updated. A tight 1-0 win with a late Lyden winner. A scramble in the box after a Borg cross turned into some pinball. Back up to 3rd we go. Other results tonight. Blackburn 4-0 Fulham Newcastle 0-1 Wolves West Brom 0-1 Southampton 1
OutByEaster? Posted September 26, 2017 Moderator Posted September 26, 2017 Couldn't make it to the game with a touch of the dreaded man-flu, but it was a decent watch on the youtube thing - Brighton will consider themselves unlucky having hit the bar twice, but we created the better chances. I thought Blackett-Taylor (who is now just Taylor?) was excellent for an hour or so, Doyle-Hayes is playing with a real confidence and was also really good and Harry McKirdy looked a threat. Also, I'd have to say that Sarkic looks a very competent keeper. Good stuff. 2
AntrimBlack Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Good to get it on YouTube, and an interesting watch. Doyle-Hayes and McKirdy stood out, and Suliman and Sarkic also looked good.
OutByEaster? Posted September 29, 2017 Moderator Posted September 29, 2017 Well now, I'm confused. There's a thing called the Premier League 2 Cup - we're in it. We played our opening game tonight against the Albion and won 3-1. Who sneaked that in!!?!? Umpteen articles telling us Messi's FIFA 18 rating, but not a single mention of this game on the OS, or for that matter in the Forest programme. Suliman, Lyden and McKirdy scored for us. 2
OutByEaster? Posted October 2, 2017 Moderator Posted October 2, 2017 A couple of venue changes for the front page: The game against Blackburn on the 20th November will now be at Keys Park, where Hednesford Town play - as will the Premier League 2 cup games against Sheffield United on 4th December and the one against Ipswich on 12th February. 1
OutByEaster? Posted October 2, 2017 Moderator Posted October 2, 2017 Full PL2 Cup fixtures: Ipswich (A) - 6th November Sheffield Utd (H) - 4th December West Brom (A) - 19th January Ipswich (H) - 12th February Sheffield Utd (A) - 26th February 1

BOF Posted October 16, 2017 Author Moderator Posted October 16, 2017 Grealish starts this evening. Great news. 2
OutByEaster? Posted October 16, 2017 Moderator Posted October 16, 2017 One nil up. McKirdy. Make that two - probably Lyden - announced in the stadium as McKirdy. 2
BOF Posted October 16, 2017 Author Moderator Posted October 16, 2017 A better day for Villa against Wolves this time around. A 2-0 win along with Blackburn being held 2-2 moves us back into 2nd place in the table. Also with Boro's first loss of the season coming on Sunday, it means we're back in the hunt for the title. Jack Grealish returned from his long term kidney injury and got an encouraging hour under his belt. There is still doubt over the scorer of our 2nd goal. Some thought it might be Jordan Lyden, but with the announcer and the OS both going with a McKirdy brace, we'll go with that until told otherwise. It has now been confirmed that Lyden got the second goal with McKirdy getting the first. Lyden's 4th league goal of the season. James Finnerty came in for his first start of the season and provided the assist for McKirdy's goal. Gameweek 7 results. Fulham 2-1 Stoke City Middlesbrough 3-4 Reading Norwich 1-1 West Brom Brighton 2-2 Blackburn Southampton 6-2 Newcastle Wolves 0-2 Aston Villa 2

BOF Posted October 23, 2017 Author Moderator Posted October 23, 2017 Middlesbrough have dropped more points. This time a 2-2 draw away to Brighton. So a win for us this evening puts us within a point of the top. 1
