I hear Sheffield is lovely this time of year.

Nottingham is too....except when A Soubry is in the office....Ooops.

Glenn would fit in well.

We might get a bidding war from both teams. No fear one can take Whelan the other Jedinak

Bidding starts at they get them for free and we pay 25% of their wages.

We can go as high as 50% of their wages, but don't tell anyone.

Let the bidding begin.

Seemed like a pretty standard Whelan performance to me.

He had a good game and tired towards the end when his legs went.

Agreed on both points. Played well but he simply can't play 90 mins. Painfully slow towards the end (before he went off).

Glenn Whelan can play, his legs just won't let him anymore.

Really?  I've never thought he had any ability with the ball going back 10 years or so.  England is probably the only major football league in the world where his kind of skill set is seen as desirable in a footballer.

These type of players rarely get the plaudits.....Sergio Busquets would probably be top of the pile and only the discerning fans would notice him.

They are essential, but not necessarily eye candy.

A bit of footballing ability would be nice too

That's the type you get when you are a bit better than us.

We were ten times the team when he wasn't playing when we had Grealish.
