Ahmed Elmohamady

Recommended Posts

He is a player who had about one good season in him , which we got last year ...he is at best an decent wing back but at RB he is exposed

The first goal and the pen against Stoke are pathetic defending a young kid you might cut some slack but he is an experienced pro

I've backed him before and still rate him as our best RB

but

he was pathetic today. 2 of their goals purely down to him. Embarrassing.

The third was as much Hutton as Elmo, but agree with the general message.

Useless. Completely at fault for 2 goals. 2 games in a row he’s allowed someone to cut inside every time, both games he’s been punished.

Gone from looking solid last season in behind Adomah to looking a completely different player this season.

Needs to have a word with himself as he has been poor these last few games.

To be fair it was behind Snodgrass when he looked the best. I think they had a good understanding after being at Hull together.

I think that relationship made Elmo look better than he actually is.

One thing is for sure, we need two new fullbacks as our current selection is garbage.

His positioning and decision making are appalling.

He's an emergency winger only but no defender.

Cost us 2 home games in succession. Hopefully that’s the last we see of him. Would rather recall De Laet than see Elmo anywhere near the team sheet.
