rodders0223
Veretout is always on the move and it makes a world of difference to always have that player dropping back or going wide to provide an option.

KSV
Chester and Terry not one long ball yet. Finding the midfield. Keeping the ball. Ahhhh beautiful
a m ole
Green's willingness to track back and hold position is excellent.
DCJonah
Front two look poor so far. McCormack a bit sloppy and Hogan not in the game. Really hoping both start to get a lot of confidence in pre season.

rodders0223
Unless the ball is fired in behind and he can open his legs Hogan just isn't interested. I just don't rate the kid.

I just don't rate the kid. It's worrying how uninvolved he's been in so many villa games. Even if you don't get the service you can still have an impact with work rate and harrassing defenders. 25 mins gone and I'd be amazed if he's had 2 touches. KSV
We still lack creativity. Bikir is average. Prefer three in midfield with green as a wide forward.

You need more to your game than that though, his touch is usually poor and he doesn't even try and compete in the air.

True, and Kodjia would be first choice if we play like this. He can have his uses though.
