a m ole
This game is a win-win-win. I don't think I've ever cared less about a Villa result before!
terrytini
Loving this already. Half way up the road already seen two large groups of bananas, two scoobies, a despicable me or two, three beach balls, two surfboards. Increasingly convinced this would be a really special party if Blues are 4-0 down at half time and we sing for the Rovers. Ive always wanted to shout 'come on Rovers ' anyway..

A draw could be enough for them on the final day. That's a win for me.

alreadyexists Posted April 29, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted April 29, 2017 That's about as strong a line up as possible TBH.
OutByEaster? Posted April 29, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 29, 2017 Interesting! No wingers - 4-3-1-2? Hourihane behind Hogan and Kodjia?

sir_gary_cahill
Anyone think that midfield is too narrow?

I think with Jedinak missing, we'll end up with both Gardner and Lansbury deep in front of the back four, I think Bacuna and Hourihane will end up very narrow - which is fine down the right hand side where Hutton will get forward, but troubling down the left, where Taylor won't. I suspect that in play we'll end up with this sort of shape. ----------------------------Johstone------------------------- ------------------Chester--------------Baker----------Taylor Hutton-----------Lansbury--------Gardner----------------- -----------Bacuna---------------------Hourihane----------- ------------------------Hogan---------------Kodjia--------- Which is a little unbalanced, but could be worse. OutByEaster? Posted April 29, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 29, 2017 Derrick Williams? Been a while since I saw that name.
DCJonah
Diamond or Lansbury or hourihane out of position? Hopefully a diamond because if he feels Bacuna and Lansbury are better wide players than grealish and adomah then it's a worry.
KSV
Looks like a 433 to me with Bacuna and Kodjia wide of Hogan and Lansbury Hourihane and Gardner in midfield
