Possession is important....but like all aspects of football, in isolation, they are meaningless.

Football is a compendium of many many aspects.

Possession for me, is never argued properly, it has to be accompanied by so many other important aspects of the game.

Barca are 2nd in La Liga

Were playing in Q/F of Champions league

During the last 10 years or so Barca have won La Liga, Spanish Cup, CL and World club Championship a multiple of times.

I suppose the difference is they have/had Luis/Pep & Messi - We have Bruce & Hutton

I'm NOT a "Possesion at all costs" advocat.

I want Villa to dominate a game, be that with more or less % of the ball.

Factors for the Palace & Juve results are simple

Arsenal are shit at scoring and even more shit at defending

Juve are A1+++++ at defending and as capable as Barca at taking chances. Juve just DuckArses them. The tactic a team must employ to beat Barca. They are one of a few teams that are deserving that respect.

We only have to beat the likes of 

Barnsley

Ipswich

NottsF

Brentford

PNE

Wolves

Cardiff

Bristol C

..........

not many people want Bruce out, they just think he could be doing better it's not like there is a lynch mob, I would just about say this is one of the best squads we have had in years, yet the money spent doesn't translate to what we see on the pitch.
