brummybloke Posted August 5, 2017 Share Posted August 5, 2017 Makes sense bringing him on if we are chasing the game. He wins a great deal in the air, something we didn't do for 55 minutes of today's game. We had a couple corners 10 minutes or so before the end, that would have been the time to bring him on. Midfield was lost after 35 minutes so playing more direct with 5 minutes to go probably looked a better option than trying to win back the midfield. We took a £10 million striker off the pitch and then later out a CB up front. That's what we did. Fair play to samba, he put the effort in but I'm stunned at what I saw today. Last chance sallon throw the big guy on to unsettle their cb and try and nick it. I dont get the shock over this. It was for 4 mins. Hogan was actually still running around and chasing defenders. I was absolutely shocked Samba came on for Hogan. Fair play to Samba though. He ran like mad.
