OK - put my client ref in - tells me the account is activated. Did the reset password link - all ok so far - then tried to login - no account found !  what a complete balls up !

Ok I got in via another link - doesn't show anything about purchase history or if I have a ticket for 2017/18 ? - where should I look ?

go onto online box office and log in , if you click on your name right top of the screen your season ticket should be listed below

I had 3 season cards in my post this morning. My guess is that they have all been posted in time to arrive by tomorrow at the latest. Unfortunately, the few that are genuinely lost in the post (anyone got a nose postie?), will need to collect or print a ticket on Saturday. Hopefully it will only be few of approximately 20,000.

I think saying it is a few is wishful thinking mate. Looking on twitter and FB pages etc a lot of fans haven't received them yet me included. They are telling people to arrive at ticket office before 4pm that is 90 min before kick off so I'd imagine they know there will be a lot who won't get them in time.

The whole thing is a farce. The season tickets won't even be fully activated with the extra features until Norwich at earliest. They should have sent out paper tickets and should never have come to having to queue 90 mins before game. Just to add insult to injury it looks as though it will be pissing down as well :)

Villa v Hull: Important information if you don’t receive your season card

Villa v Hull: Important information if you don’t receive your season card

If you’re yet to receive your season card, don’t worry, they are on the way to you right now!

However, if you don’t receive your season card in time for our opener against Hull City, we have plans in place.

If you haven’t received your season card by the time you check your post on Saturday, first off, we apologise for the inconvenience this causes for you.

You won’t have to miss the game – just head to Villa Park to pick up paper tickets on this one-off occasion.

We have three dedicated windows for these season ticket reprints – they will be clearly signed and open from 9am.

There will be a separate queue management system and it will be manned by experienced staff.

Our Fan Squad will be walking up and down the queue to answer any of your queries as you wait.

Just remember to have your Fan ID ready for when you reach the window!

You’ll then receive a paper ticket and you’re ready to watch the boys in claret and blue against the Tigers.

Our advice is to arrive well of advance of 4pm to pick up your replacement tickets to avoid congestion.

Hopefully most will arrive in the next two days but it does sound like there will be plenty without them come Saturday afternoon.

Fortunately mine came today, and hopefully most will by Saturday, but this contingency of turn up well over an hour before normal and queue, is an absolute piss take!

I haven't had ink in my home printer since 2007 , who do you think I am? Johnny Rockefeller?

It's the reason why work printers exist!

When I left work today my colleague pointed out a pile of post left in the office block main reception area which all seemed to be misdirected post which had been sitting there since he noticed it this morning and nestling amongst it were 2 season ticket packs which bizarrely had 2 addresses not even similar to ours. I can only assume they had somehow got attached to something else in error.

I'm fairly sure mine has turned up as my cat sitter has said 'something Villa arrived' but I won't find out til Saturday lunchtime when I get back from the airport!

However, why is there all this fuss when they also said they were rolling out 'Print-at-Home'? That doesn't require outside suppliers so just activate a print at home option for all the people who haven't received them yet.

When I cat sat my mates cats before I left home one of them got run over.

We tried not responding to their calls till they left a message demanding a response as they were now really worried.

He still calls me the cat killer 20 years later.

Sorry to go off topic but the cat sitter comment brought it all back to me.

We buried it in a plastic bag in the garden. They planted a rose bush over it.

Anyhoo anyone else got their ticket?
