villa4europe
Only been to 5 of them... maybe fortunately seeing as I had some really shit nights in Worcester in my early 20s (fights, general pretentiousness of people, getting ID'd the bouncer seeing Kidderminster and saying "**** off home" etc) I pretty much never go there, been there once in 5 years I think the missus works there and does it every couple of months, horrible place
PompeyVillan
Tramps was freaking awful last time I went there 11 years ago.
villa4europe
I'd say I'm about the same for tramps, sin then got popular but I went there maybe twice and it was awful, last time I went was on my Christmas do a couple of years back, walked out of bushwhackers after about 10 minutes of being in there, went to velvet lounge which was ok
Seat68
Never ever been to Couture here in Stafford. The Buttermarket in Shrews in a sideroom in the 80's and 90's I was there every week. It was called the fridge and it was the best indie night I ever went to. Put some exceptional. Bands on too. Most famously the stone roses. Nice to see places you (used to) know high up in a list like that. Not sure how the place in Evesham doesn't make it on to that list (can't remember what it's called).
sharkyvilla
I live about 20 yards away from number 36. I'm famous! Only been once and it wasn't that bad really, though one of my female mates got spunked on her arm by some loser there.

Bit surprised there was no Wolverhampton club included.
Rodders
I only ever went clubbing during a two -three year period. It seems I managed to hit 3 of the top 12 crap ones in the country. Probably didn't help them. Tramps was always shite.

It appeared only slightly less inbred than a place I once went to in Ipswich or a Henley pub during the regatta. Quote Evesham Journal Picture gallery: Tramps, Images, Torch, Hideaway, Annabelles, Drewids and Bamboo nightclubs Plenty of memories in there. Images/Images on Glass especially. No mention of Zig Zag's prior incarnation as Picasso's, though - Thursday (indie/student) nights at the very end of the 80s were top nights. Athough it was about 97/98 I'm talking i guess, I know I was at school when I went and think it shut down not long after that. I was meant to being going to Nicky Blackmarket but it wasn't on so we went to the rock night downstairs.

I don't think so when I was going (88-90) but it may have been as I wasn't taking much notice of the sign above the door (it was just what we referred to it as). I think Zig Zags closed when it got torched in the mid 2000s. Edited February 14, 2017 by snowychap
