Thought he had one more year.

Bad attempt at humour and us being idiots.

If we get £5m it'll be an incredible result and get a waste of wages off the books.

If no one will pay at least £3m, we should keep him.

Hogans confidence was simply shot to pieces, and we could not afford to accommodate him.

It's that simple IMO, he just needed an arm around him and some belief, it's unfortunate where he has found all that again ffs.

Could actually be worth keeping around if we go down.  Be funny when he scores a hat trick past SHA

If we go 4 4 2 which we won't. Otherwise he will be back to loan striker which he can't play or bench struggling to make an impact.

His time here is done. Blues if good for him. Hopefully they can stump up some dosh.

Having a back and forth with someone on Facebook who claims the reason Scott Hogan never performed is because, Dean never wanted to play him, because he never bought him.

What is the rudest way for me to point out the gaping hole in that conspiracy theory? lol

It's not impossible that they could still get dragged into a relegation battle, eight points clear but all it takes is a bad week in the championship and you can suddenly find yoursel in trouble. They've got games away to Albion and Fulham coming up, and another two at home to Hull and Huddersfield.

It expires in the Summer of 2021

Ah yes, looked hastily. It's the deal at SHA that ends in the summer and ours in 2021.

We're actually gonna get some money for this bloke, incredible

Be interesting what we'll get for him.

Is 4-5m too much to ask for? SHA won't pay that but I remember he was linked to Bristol City last summer and they always have decent cash to buy a striker.

It sounds an interesting idea in principle but as he's said in his interviews since leaving he couldn't wait to get out of here so would be too much negativity in his mind if he came back. A fresh start elsewhere is what he needs and hopefully he'll get that at a club who'll sign him for at least 5m.
