Dr_Pangloss
Ethan Ampadu is one hell of a player for a 17 year old, physical attributes aside he seems to really 'get it', has real tactical awareness and looks a leader in the making. Yep, obviously Scott McKenna (Aberdeen) and Lewis Morgan (Celtic) are the best of the younger Scottish bunch i would say along with Fraser!! Biskitt
Was going to mention Ryan Fraser, always looks a good little player to me. Not sure if he’s been mentioned already but Lukasz Fabianski has turned into a really solid keeper over the last few years and is a bit underrated IMO

Only real weakness is he’s not the most clinical finisher, as highlighted by his glaring open goal miss tonight.
Michael118
I haven't watched a lot of football over the last couple of seasons but I saw part of an Everton game the other night and Bernard looks like he has some real quality. He complements Bonucci so well too, being more of a stopper, whilst Bonucci is better with the ball. Certainly for the last 5/6 years he's been a very, very good defender. Like with Buffon, it'll be a shame if he doesn't get his hands on that trophy.

I still think I'd take Maldini, Cannavaro, Stam, maybe Rio Ferdinand over him. Maybe even Terry or Puyol. 2003 had some absolute worldie defenders in it. I mean, he's definitely up there with the best of them. But is he even as good as Bonucci? Or even Barzagli? LOL I FORGOT NESTA. GOATS EVERYWHERE. They are legends of the game Think Chiellini has it all and is consistent regardless of partner or opponent. He gave a masterclass 2nd leg vs Spurs last season when Kane was red hot

Not to say he's shit, but he'd some considerable way off the top dogs of the past 15 years for me.
villan-scott Posted November 5, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted November 5, 2018 Callum Wilson. Always seems to pop up with goals and done exceptionally well coming back from 2 ACL injuries. Surely worth a shout for the England squad?!
villa4europe
why would you call up a premier league player playing well and scoring when you can call up a retired player from a pub league?
