sir_gary_cahill
The term 'playing flexibly' is often banded about by quite a lot of people, can someone explain what it means?

I've never used it but I can imagine its regarding a fixed setup/tactics with room to manouver. maybe switching from 4-3-3 to 4-4-

vreitti
Don't know about 'playing flexibly', but I do think some players are more 'flexible' or 'versatile' than others, e.g. meaning they're able to more easily adapt to different roles/positions in a given formation. For instance, I recall one of my all time favorite players, Dion Dublin played superbly as a center back a few times, during an injury crisis. Now try thinking Gabby as center back. I'd say most accomplished forwards/wingers are nowadays able to 'adapt flexibly' anywhere in an attacking position. Just consider Sanchez in Arsenal now playing as a lone striker, when he's mostly been used as a winger before in his career.
Phumfeinz
I dunno, they're supposed to freshen your breath but whenever I have some I just end up with a sour taste in my mouth. Chewing gum all the way for me.
