Just seen his goal today on SSN, what a lovely lovely goal, controlled the lofted through ball with a lovely touch then flicked it over the head of the oncoming defender and placed in under the keepers dive. Reminds me of the Gazza goal v Scotland. Fantastic!

(Bowery scored twice in same game too)

I looked up the highlights video for this goal after your description, very nice.

Doing well at Crewe, is he an out and out striker or plays a bit deeper?

Also plays with his socks rolled down like Grealish.

No doubt they'll be calls to get him in our team if he keeps scoring but I'd like to see him loaned to a league 1 team next season.

Thanks for that. I think he is a really good prospect. Always heavily involved in games.

First thing I noticed about him several seasons ago.

Ah the telltale sign of an out and out baller.

Carlisle United have signed former Aston Villa striker Harry McKirdy.

The 22-year-old left Villa Park at the end of the season and has agreed a one-year deal with Carlisle.

McKirdy did not make a first-team appearance for Villa and had loan spells at Stevenage, Crewe and Newport.

Was he not on loan at Crewe at one stage?

Certainly with his ability I'd be amazed if he dosen't play higher than league 2 in his career. One to watch to see how high back up the leagues he rises.

I’ll send you pm mete

Went to the Walsall V Carlisle game and saw Mckirdy play.

He was very influential. Always looked dangerous and likely to beat a man. He was brought down after breaking through leading to a sending off and scored the winning goal with a looping header in extra time to win the match.

I think he’s capable of playing at a higher standard.
