Well if anyone knows how to win at the sty then it's SB. Don't care if it's an ugly 0-1; 3 points is all that matters.

We can dick them 6-0 at our place later .

Round pegs in round holes, sensible game plan, substitutions at the correct time. Holy crap we have a manager who at least seems to have common sense. Who would have thought it would work that way? 

From the highlights it looks like we should have won 3-0. The goals will come with as the confidence builds.

So I'll ask the question - which decade was it when we last won 3 on the bounce?

We've only gone and won again!

We started both halves very well but faded a little from both of them, we're not quite a unit, not quite fluent, but we look a bit more organised. Gardner has brought something and Bruce has sort of set us up to be a bit more solid and let the front men see if they can force a mistake or make something happen on their own. We're not fluent, but we're more difficult to play against I think. That said, Fulham opened us up a number of times in the game and I don't want to be claiming we've quite turned the corner yet.

I thought Baker and Gardner were good, Amavi had his best game since his injury which was heartening and Gollini looks more confident by the game.

The plaudits however go to two forwards, for very different reasons - one for working hard up front and scoring a fabulous goal - a brilliant finish from Kodjia that he fully merited for the effort he puts in up front - and one for as good a midfield display as you'll see from a striker - Ayew worked his socks off today, we know he's good on the ball and can twist and turn and create things, but the number of times he won it back for us today was really impressive. He's always available and he grafted and grafted and grafted.

We looked a lot more balanced when Adomah came on, which benefited both of those two and helped us look a little more threatening. I like Adomah, he doesn't give his opposition a second on the ball and he knows what he wants to do with it.

We need more in midfield, we still don't really control games, or keep the ball well, we don't have the right energy in there and our forwards are working hard to cover it - but I think this manager will find ways to get us through to January in the right way so we can address that. 

In short, so far under Bruce we're a little more solid, with a striker who will score goals and improved confidence, more importantly than that, we've got seven more points. It's promising.

We're coming for you.

Well said. Hard to pick MOM but went with Baker.  Done real well for us and him and Chester look very solid to me.  they had very few chances.

I liked the bit where the ref blewed his whistle and we had wonned the game.

Scrappy in the first half but much much better in the second. We really should have had a couple more in all honesty. For all the slagging off Gardener has had, including from me, he had a really good game. In fact the whole midfield looked much better. What Bruce has got us doing is working much much harder. We kept our energy for the full 90 minutes and every player tracked back, helped out and worked hard. There were still some sloppy errors but overall much better than under RDM.

 Shame he didn't get his second, Aye and Adomah should've scored their chances. Judging by the limited highlights looked as though we were the better team!

Really good to see a manager with a brain, Adomah added the pace which meant that Fulham couldn't bore us to death. Thought Gardner and Jedi were a really good pairing. Baker and Chester looked better than Elphick with anyone. Thought the forwards had an off day.

Thought we were really poor first half, no pressure off the ball and some really poor movement when we had it

impressed with whatever Bruce said at half time and with the early gestede sub (he was awful) thought adomah changed the game with his directness, annoying that we let then string 10-20 passes together when whenever we pressed them they looked dodgy, no surprise to me that our goal came from pressing them, should have scored a couple more but overplayed it (personally thought their keeper saved ayews) baker was motm for me, won pretty much everything, him and Chester were a great partnership, Amavi probably had his best game for us, so did Gardner 

fulham for all their possession didn't create a chance that I can remember
