That along with Elmo being able to move back to RB given the wingers we've just signed, and Tuanzebe put in the **** bin, should help massively defensively. The high pressing, movement and quick passing today was lovely (for 70 minutes before we fell apart, but stille encouraging). We’re all quick to have a go at Bruce when they plays poorly so we have to give him credit when they give it a good go and move it around so well. Bruce will know we can’t expect to mount a promotion challenge with that makeshift back four. Id he shocked if a new centre half and left back isn’t bought in by the end of next week. It showed how much we needed new wingers, could of won easily win abit of quality. Dean smiths subs changed the game, Steve Bruce subs seemed to have the opposite effect, still don’t like him. Jedinaks not a cb. Nyland should of done better for the second, so should have Tuanzebe. McGin at the centre of the press seems a great buy. Whelan done pretty well. The king is back.
