Before the Norwich game I wrote - to the mortification and abuse of some - that I would’ve took a defeat IF it meant they sacked Bruce. A couple vilified the very idea. Well you’ve got what you wanted, we Won that game and it led us to tonight where - for the umpteenth time - we were made to look a TOTAL JOKE. One side played football, looked coached, were entertaining, had imaginative corners, a variety of attacking methods. The other was a lumbering, hoofing bunch of Steve Bruce clodhoppers. Embarrassing. Automatic promotion was gone in September, now even the mythical “ play off place” could be disappearing from view. And it’s worth pointing out every time - a play off place isn’t a prize, it’s a ticket to a lottery, and the teams we would meet in that lottery would rub their hands at meeting us. I don’t care if sacking him is a risk. Dean Smith and backroom staff with a long term plan to change the whole playing philosophy of the team and the personnel.
