Barnsley are absolute dogshit and are coming back into it after a fortuitous goal.

They're not great but absolute dogshit is over the top. They're hardly whipping boys.

Another half like that and Bruce will have earned a stay of execution but more importantly, might have learnt to trust his players and not go so defensive in the future.

All theoretical for the time being but I think you'd all agree that wouldn't be such a bad eventuality.

Yes we are winning but we still can't put 2 passes together.

Bruce needs to go regardless of result.

It's a pretty poor Barnsley team.

There's no chance he'll be sacked if we win today.

I think we will win Saturday and a few will return to supporting Bruce

I think we will have a decent run and the clamour for his head will lessen

I think we will hover around mid-table until it becomes obvious that promotion is not happening

Bruce could be here until the end of the season

another year wasted

....and in one fell swoop our chances of promotion disappear

I'm happy with the result but the possession stats sum up the problem. Against better teams they will make punish you with that much possession.

Possession stats are a nonsense and mean nothing.

In the spirit of showing some fairness.

He's averaged 2 points over the last 4 games and has gone with a 442 attacking team.

Against Boro I wanted to lose, today I've celebrated the goals like mad.

I seriously hope he doesn't revert back like after Norwich.

Davis/kodjia partnership might keep him in here a while longer yet

Couldn't care less about possession stats, I've enjoyed today's game and like 4-4-2 with our players so let's hope he sticks to it

This. If he learns from it and it's a platform, then we're good.

Whilst I agree with what you've said - particularly in respect of him finally picking a more positive side - I'm afraid I've seen nothing to suggest that overall anything will be any better.

A good win, in a game we SHOULD comfortably win. Pleased for the fans who went .... my tickets on the mantelpiece.... couldn't face it.

But whilst it's a good win I'm certain in the long run it will harm not help us. If I'm wrong, great. But I'm certain I'm not.
