More surprising is that they still haven't even scored a goal given how good they are at the top of the pitch.
HanoiVillan
Now got three games against top 4 sides, so you've got to assume they are probably going to lose their first 8 games of the season, which is not far from dead and buried.
villa89
Yeah they really needed a 'new manager bounce today'. They now have a horror run of games and woy in charge. It could go very badly for them.
VillaChris
They are in massive trouble. If they lose their next 3 which seems likely they'd need to muster 40 points from just 90 remaining.

They're still a half short of equalling the run we went on without scoring. December 2014 Swansea 1-0 Aston Villa Aston Villa 0-0 Sunderland January 2015 Aston Villa 0-0 Palace Leicester 1-0 Aston Villa Aston Villa 0-2 Liverpool. Arsenal 5-0 Aston Villa We then scored in the second half of the Chelsea game so Palace got another 45 minutes to find a goal next week.
HanoiVillan
You've got to feel sorry for them . . . they're going to go into a game against Man Utd at the weekend with either Loftus-Cheek or more likely Bakary Sako up front (neither of whom have ever played there) and then Hodgson is planning to get Can't Control in over the international break. They'll do well to keep Man Utd to single figures to be honest.

I don't think we had a shot on target either during that run - but I've basically blotted the memory of that time from my mind.
TheAuthority Posted September 30, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) Lost 7 in a row now and haven't scored a single goal this season. Doomed. It will end up being a sad final chapter for Woy's career. Edited September 30, 2017 by TheAuthority
