I would go Hutton over Richards because even though Hutton is absolutely shit, at the very least, he tries.

Richards is both shit and doesn't try, which angers me more.

Jesus, it's like choosing which way to die Super AIDS or Super Cancer.

I'm feeling positive for this one. Di Matteo now has a point to prove. 'A point' being the wrong phrase, as that's all he's bloody proved.

Villa will win this though I reckon. 2-1 and a really edgy final 10 minutes.

I'd be tempted to play Baker either at RB or bring Chester across to RB and play Baker at CB. It's not ideal but shows how unhappy I would be with Richards or Hutton. Just don't want either anywhere near the side. Whilst we've been drawing a lot this season, those two are losers.

Oh dear.  Bacuna suspended...so Hutton, Richards or Back 3.

Terrible, terrible or terrible.

Maybe go with the safe option  and put de laet on the pitch, just standing still for 90 mins?

We cant keep playing too many forwards.. Give Ayew a free role and let him have some protection with three midfielders. Just play our 30 million strikers UPFRONT.

Richards is more of a goal threat than Hutton. Same with Amavi over Cissohko. We need to go for it and smash in 2-3 goals early to kill this game off.

4-0 Villa. This is the game we break the shackles. Has to be. Or RDM will be gone come Monday.

That's the team for me, chaps.

It looks so obvious, almost picks itself.

Gollini

Richards Chester Elphick Amavi

Gestede

We must have 3 midfielders.

He will change some players

He will change formation before the game and during the game (at least twice during)

We will struggle the first half

Come out second half and score a goal

Change formation again

Sit deep and defend

Concede the last kick of the game for a draw

Xia will say be patient and RDM will look lost and say he is frsutrated

We all know it will be a draw.  Question is what minute will we concede - I am going 84th or 90th ;)

85th min vs Sheff Weds

86th min vs Huddersfield

87th min vs Forest

88th min vs Brentford

89th min vs Barnsley

I think we'll break the sequence of minutes we've conceded in so I'll go 1-1 with Preston scoring in the 87th minute.

We've already broken it.  People just don't like writing "90th min vs Barnsley"

Right RDM listen up, here's the blueprint all done for you, just execute it!  Will it work?  Hell knows, but at least there's a logic behind it.  It's probably floored logic otherwise i'd be managing in the premier league instead of being sat behind an office desk, writing a tactical proposal for someone who'll never read it, but hey ho...

Starting XI

---------------------- Gollini ----------------------

Chester --- Elphick --- Jedinak --- Amavi

Adomah --- Tshibola --- Lyden --- Grealish

---------------------- Ayew ------------------------

--------------------- Kodjia -------------------------

The plan
1. Let's go all Pep Guardiola trendy style and convert Jedi into a centre back, play out from the back.
2. Drop Westwood - just so that if we do lose/draw we don't have 12 pages on here moaning about him.
3. Stick Lyden in the middle with Tish, because aside from those already mentioned the only other option is Gardner... nuff said.
4. Tell Adomah and Jack to hug the touch lines and create width
5. Give Ayew a free role
6. Tell Kodjia to play on the shoulder of the last defender

Subs:
If losing:
Revert to 3 at the back and tell Tish and Lyden to hold, Adomah and Amavi to put crosses in for the big man, McCormack and Ayew to feed off the knock downs.

---------------------- Gollini ----------------------

-------Chester --- Elphick --- Baker --------

Adomah --- Tshibola --- Lyden --- Amavi

----- McCormack ------------ Ayew -----------

--------------------- Gestede----------------------

If winning:
Flood the midfield.  Cissokho on to sure up the left, Baker on for height to cope with the inevitable barrage of balls into the box. Gestede on to hold the ball up.

---------------------- Gollini ----------------------

Chester --- Elphick --- Baker --- Cissokho

---------------------- Jedinak---------------------

Adomah --- Tshibola --- Lyden --- Grealish

---------------------- Gestede ---------------------

DO IT!!!!
