VillaChris
Knew ROI would win this....this is the sort of against the odds result they dig out once every campaign. Last time it was Germany of course.

Wales still struggle breaking defensive teams down. That's why they've drawn so many games in this group and looks like all the draws in the first part of the group will end up costing them.

Genie
It's a shame for Wales that Bale misses so many games, he makes a very average game decent. For Ireland that was like a Steve Bruce job, wasn't pretty but it's the result that matters.

VILLAMARV
Well done Ireland. Wales lacking quality up front. Nothing we didn't know. Shame for Bale. Pleased for Seamus Coleman though. 2 minutes ago, rodders0223 said: On a side note, Ramsay has to be one of the most overrated footballers going. Zatman
couldnt believe Ireland did that. tactics were questionable but some heroic performances by Duffy, Meyler and Arter Duffy was like a young Laursen, won everything in the air and dangerous in both boxes
markavfc40
Typical Mon away team performance and it worked a treat as aside from the Robson Kanu header I don't remember Randolph having a serious save to make. Fair pay to Ireland I hope they get a decent draw in the play offs and get through. Just by the presence of their supporters alone the World Cup will be enhanced and we may have the added bonus of 2 or 3 Villa players featuring for them.
