Boro saying we havent signed Adomah

GIven we have a picture of him in a Villa shirt and holding a ball and smiling then I would guess that constitutes tapping up

Depending on the fees here, I think we got away with a steal if we somehow managed to include Traore into this deal. Traore may come good in the future, but Adomah is good now, and helped Middlesborough reach promotion last season. We need that experience. Plus he will hopefully be much happier than Traore to play for us.

Well, every time I've started a thread about a player this summer within 12 hours they have signed so, welcome Albert Adomah?

Quick, strong, six million quid, can't go wrong?

As was noted in the speculation thread he has played in over 40 games in his last 6 seasons, all at this level.

He's 28 years old and has 24 goals and 15 assists in his last 130 games for Boro and has a handy 7.06 rating on WhoScored - https://www.whoscored.com/Players/35328/History/Albert-Adomah

Thoughts?

Great signing. Helped Boro get promoted last season and can hopefully do it for us too. An average rating of 7.20 is incredible and apparently he's consistent, something we've been lacking of late.

Potentially a massive piece of a our promotion puzzle. Finally someone who looks like they can cross the ball, and also that they actually want to cross the ball. This is the first time we've had a player like this since Ashley Young and Marc Albrighton.

Great news for Gestede and McCormack. Great news for Grealish as it looks like we'll have threat on the opposite side of the pitch to him as well. And, perhaps great news for Ayew, if he doesn't leave then he has one of his buddies coming to hopefully settle him down and help him score some goals.

Another good bit of business for RDM. It seems we have the money, and we are using it buy proven quality at this level. If we can get promoted and then do the same next year (buy proven quality at Premier League level), then it will be the first time we've done that since MON, and we will be fine.

that goal in the video above against Doncaster is drool worthy. The lad can definately finish.

Just like all our summer signings, i know next to nothing about him. Looks the buisness though in those clips, and the general reaction of Boro fans is a good sign. Seems a much better value for money deal than we were seemingly going to do for Valencia
