Post injury Kodjia is a busted flush, brilliant for the first couple of years, his goal at qpr away absolutely summed him up a true enigma. Thank you Jonathan, you made those early championship days very fun

Remember it well. I was at the front of the upper tier sat next to Kodjia’s brother and we all went nuts. Think this was also the same game Jimmy had missed a penalty in earlier. Totally made up for it late on in front of a barmy away end.

Glad he's going but he served us well in the Championship. Best of luck to him.

Yeah - don't get the dislike for a guy who carried us in some very dark times - and cruicslly stepped in with goals when TA got injured towards the end of last season

Will remember him fondly, without his goals in his first season we may have ended up in League 1! He was pretty good when called upon last year too and seems a fun character. Cheers Jimmy Danger!

Good luck to him. His peformances in his first season was the only bit of entertainment we had in a good few years. Brought a few smiles back to Villa park. Its a shame that the injuries have catched up with him. And I think Smith could perhaps have managed him better as it was patently clear that he was only played when there was literally no other choice.  You can kind of understand his frustration. But I don't think he is premier league quality. It would have been better if we brought in a couple more forwards in the summer and let him go then.

Kodj: you were an extended holiday romance. We found ourselves in a strange new country after a few years of terrible experiences. We just wanted to smile again. And you helped us do that. You showed us moves we hadn’t seen for a while, made us feel feelings that we thought had gone away. The way you used to move, Kodj! But, you know, we both knew it wasn’t for the long haul. Maybe our fling went on too long - for both of us - maybe we should’ve just called it a day after you showed us those great moves in Nottingham? Maybe we worked you too hard - maybe we enjoyed ourselves too much - and then you went and injured yourself. We had to get our kicks somewhere else, Kodj. It’s just how it is. Those new hairstyles were just a cry for attention weren’t they, Kodj, especially when we had our heads were turned by Tammy.

And like all holiday romances, Kodj: when we were having trouble getting serious with our new number 9, trying to work out how best to navigate a big Brazilian (we’d never seen one before!), we drew on those memories and came calling. We thought we might still have that spark, and then in Fulham that night, Kodj, we could just see it wasn’t going to work.

So, Kodj, thank you. You made us laugh again. But as you go to Qutar, to lie on a sunbed and get the attention of other broken singletons like we were, let’s just remind ourselves: maybe this was a holiday romance that went on a bit too long.

Thanks for the memories, Jimmy Danger.

Good luck for the future Kodj.

Some of those goals are different gravy, some of the footwork and finishes. When he turned the Brentford defender inside out 😎 Absolute pleasure to have him up front when he was firing.

Good luck JD!

An unpredictable talent, he could beat a man and score out of nothing. Unfortunately he doesn’t play to a system or work well with teammates so his talent has a ceiling and he’s of no use to a Premier League club.

He will go and score for fun in the Middle East.

Yes it will suit him ,30  years old had a few injurys, the guy clearly loves playing he just lack the discipline the guy just wants to turn up and score goals he could go on for another 5 years out there probably get paid more and a lifestyle that suits him better, Thanks Koj!

Just imagine the level of excitement on here if we signed a player with this compilation of goals!

If he goes I'll always be grateful for making that first season bearable!
